How Our Waterproofing System Works
B-Dry System Of Central & West Michigan provides you with our original and patented B-Dry basement waterproofing system to address all the ways groundwater can enter your basement or crawl space. Our system can also address saturation soil conditions from rain and snow.
When your home's originally-installed drain system fails from a rise in the water table around your property, the water will go directly into your new B-Dry system. We can control the flow of water at the footer depth to avoid water buildup around your foundation.
Water from cracks in your walls gets diverted through weep holes to enter the B-Dry system drain tile. We use a wall membrane to direct any seepage into the B-Dry system at footer depth.
Our Installation Process
We temporarily remove a 9- to 12-inch portion of your floor slab to create a trench sloping toward a draining point. We drill weep holes into the core of the concrete blocks for constant draining, but we do not drill through your block walls. We place our patented B-Dry waterproofing membrane rigid sealer on the interior wall and then install new drain tiles in the trench next to the footing.
After restoring your concrete floor, you can install any flooring (carpet, tile, and wood) on top after the concrete has dried. Our unique installation process takes longer than other methods but provides you with a longer-lasting solution for keeping your basement or crawl spaces dry as well as peace of mind.
We use only the highest quality American-made foundation repair materials from well-established companies. All our materials meet the latest ICC specifications.
